ALPS Mountaineering Cinch 20°
TechLoft Micro hammock sleeping bag
The vibrant colored Cinch series sleeping bag is a versatile sleep system ready for adventure. The Cinch is a tapered rectangle design with open ends featuring quick and easy drawstring closure for comfort adjustment — keep the ends open on warm nights for added air circulation, or cinch the end closed for added heat retention on cooler evenings. A full-length zipper allows the Cinch to open completely for use as a traditional quilt, and elastic loops are provided along the zippered edges for use as a hammock sleeping bag. The Cinch is made with ultra-light 380T 20D nylon fabric with synthetic TechLoft Micro insulation. TechLoft Micro insulation consists of multiple denier staple-length fibers that have a siliconized finish for maximum insulation, loft, and compactness. It is an ultra-lightweight insulation that has a tremendous weight-to warmth ratio making the Cinch a great option for mild-weather back-packing trips, hammock camping, snuggling around the camp fire, indoor sleepovers, and more.

Pine Grove Furnace State Park 20 degree camping

Just used this bag overnight in November 2019 for two nights in Pine Grove Furnace State Park in my hammock. I actually combined this with a heatwave blanket from Alps and slept very comfortably.

Warm and convenient for hammock camping.

This really is a great bag and I found it for 80 bucks. I wish they had used shock cord for cinching up the ends. The strings they used tend to loosen up because there is no give which let's cold air come in. It would also be good if the loops weren't right at the zipper, it makes it hard to get the bag tight against the bottom of the hammock so you don't have an air gap. I have the cinch 20 and cinch 40 I will be installing shock cord and better loops on both.
