The ALPS Mountaineering Velocity air bed is a great air bed whether you have out-of-town guests staying for the weekend or you're camping in the great outdoors. It is composed of a durable, completely PVC-free fabric, that's very lightweight. The coil system used, makes a solid and comfortable sleeping surface for a great night's sleep. The included state-of-the art pump comes with a wall charger and car charger so you can charge your pump wherever you are. The pump inflates and deflates your air bed, which is a great feature. In just minutes, your air bed inflates and is ready to use. When it's time to pack up the air bed, having a pump that deflates your bed is a huge benefit, because it quickly gets all of the air out so you can fold it up and get it compactly back into the included stuff sack.

Improved my camping experience

I've been using the Velocity Twin Air Bed for 2 or 3 years. The included battery powered air pump fills the air mattress in just over a minute and my comfort has been greatly improved because if it. It's not for a backpacker, but otherwise, I highly recommend it.

Running on 3 years

I have had this mattress for a few years now and use it a lot. I used it from camping to fire camp and I have had no issues. I love how there is no uncomfortable bulges like cheaper beds. I am very pleased.

pinhole

Set up camp and turned in after 11pm..right around 30degrees..woke up a few times as mattress got squishy then nearly flat on cold hard ground..assumed that freezing conditions factored in..back home found the tiniest pinhole, near seam, near filler hole..so much for my new $100 air bed.. my bro s had a laugh as they 30 walmart mattresses stayed full..not impressed
