Sturdy enough for big boys

First off, this cot stores in a very small, included bag. Don't let the size of the bag fool you. Once assembled, the cot is big enough for my 6'1" height and nearly 300 lbs. I use an ALPS air pad on top of the cot and experienced much improved sleep over a sleeping bag on the ground or on a self-inflating pad and bag. One night on this cot will assure you it is worth the cost.

Great lightwweight cot

I bought this cot specifically for camping, but I've found it to come in handy for a variety of uses - kids sleepovers, extra bed for hotel rooms. It's so lightweight and packs down to such a small package that it's a great item to have in the car when traveling "just in case". For camping, it fits perfectly in my Taurus 3 OF tent. I add an Alps air pad on top of the cot and it is very comfortable. The shockcorded frame makes setup a breeze. This is a great product.

More comfortable than my bed!

The worst thing about tent camping is getting a bad night's sleep. I've tried many different sleeping pads and air mattresses, and none come close to the comfort you get with the Ready Lite Cot. Yes, it's pricey, but it is totally worth it because you will no longer ditch camp to find a hotel so you can get a good night's sleep. It's portable, lightweight, and very very sturdy once together. Getting the legs on can be a little challenging, but once you get the hang of how to push down on one side so you can insert the leg, it gets easier. I will caution you to measure your tent before ordering though... this is a long cot. I wasn't able to fit it into my ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 2 unless I put the last leg on inside the tent. But still... totally worth it! I slept better on this cot inside my tent than I have in my bedroom in a very long time. Being raised off the ground is spectacular, and having great support without anything pressing into my back is even better. I will not camp without this ever again!
