Trekking pole tent

Very comfortable and unique

great tent! After it’s quick set up you’ve got a stable, comfortable shelter! Only thing I’d change is making a footprint to preserve the floor seeing as ALPS doesn’t make one for this tent (that I’ve been able to find at least) Other than that I really like this tent, over night I developed a rather mild condensation on the Very peak of the tipi but nothing that effected my nights sleep! I would absolutely recommend this to other backpackers!

Great Option

This tent was up for an entire week. During that week we had a really diverse weather conditions to include windy thunders storms. This tent stood up to every weather condition. The only thing I recommend is to get a foot print. I’m really considering getting another one.

Great durability

Took the tent to a very windy and cold spot for a weekend backpacking trip, it stayed very stable in the high winds (guy lines were tied).

Great new tent!

Spent the weekend in a windy camp site near the water in below 40 degree temps and stayed warm and dry all weekend. Very stable even in high winds. Can not wait to take to Philmont this summer.

Good Backpacking Tipi

Good - I like the simple design and use of the trekking poles helps remove the weight from the pack. It was easy to set up.

Bad - The design is a single layer fabric for most of the tent, so staying dry is an issue. I would definitely use 3 seasons only since it doesn't have a separate rain fly and would be cold in the winter.

Finally- The stuff sack could be a little bigger... I will probably get a larger one. It difficult to get back into the stuff sack... nearly impossible if wet... and an adult will probably have to help younger Boy Scouts.
