Commander + Pack Bag
Complete external frame system for the backcountry

Great Product, and even better costumer service

I ordered this bag and it came with a defect, the side pocket was not sewn on. I contacted Alps and they immediately sent a new one no questions asked. The new bag is great with no defects. This bag is very high quality and has a ton of space. All the pockets are very useful and have high quality zippers. The material is ripstop so I believe it will hold up for a long time. The pack takes a bit of time to get off the frame but it is easy to do. Overall the pack seems great and I am very excited to take it out next fall on an out west hunt. Thank you Alps!

Decent Pack

Bought this for archery season, though it makes a lot of noise when I'm hiking. Great pack though, taken it on planes and hiked in several states with it. Like the frame very much and the variety of options I have with it

Pretty good pack

Have used this mostly for rucking workouts and a few weekend/4 day long trail camping outings. Comfortable, really like the versatility of adjusting the pack while still moving. Took off the top cross bar for the frame (kept smacking me in the back of the head unless I wanted to keep my eyes down, am 5'9"). Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my bag ripped fairly quickly after purchasing. Smaller hole, will most likely ignore until I can't anymore. Only thing I wish it had was a bit more resiliency with the bag.

So far so good. This bag can hold a lot.

Very sturdy heavy duty bag that can hold almost anything! Haven't gone hiking with it but it is definitely promising looking. My BF love the bag so far.

It's awesome

Wow... Nice.

Plenty of places to store your gear. Slight weight but that's to be expected. Overall an outstanding pack. HIGHLY recommend. Worth the price.

Everything they say it is

A great multi-purpose pack. It was relatively easy to assemble and to strip for its primary purpose in my life. Having done this exercise, I now understand just how durable it is and much flexibility has been designed into it. I only wish I had bitten the bullet and bought this last year instead of the internal frame pack I settled for then. I've used the Cammander Z three days running and greatly appreciate how it has spared my lower back. I expect to use this pack almost daily for many years, Well done, ALPZ!!!

Great pack for the price

This is a solid pack. Carried out a ton of meat with no failures. I had to rotate a couple of the pins near my shoulders as they started to rub with 70 lbs on my back. In total I did about 50 miles and pack is bloodied up but still in tact. It is not waterproof. I recommend water treating if you don't use dry bags for your important items inside.

Very roomy

A lot more room than I had originally thought but not quite big enough opening to put my sleeping bag in

Great Pack!

Used this backpack on an Elk Hunting trip in Colorado. First thing I noticed was how big this pack is. Awesome material, handy pockets and comfortable to wear on very long and heavy hikes. The only thing I noticed was some creaking noise from friction between the pack material and the frame. Held up against rain pretty well too, but not entirely waterproof.
