Browning Camping Titan Cot XP XL
Powder-coated aluminum-frame cot
When you're away from your bed, make sure you still get a good night sleep. With a Browning Camping cot, you're sure to do just that. The cot has sturdy steel connectors combined with 600D polyester fabric to make your bed-away-from-home as comfortable as possible. It has an aluminum frame making it lightweight, but strong. The detachable side pocket is nice so you can keep your small items close at night and then bring them along with you when you wake up in the morning. Another nice feature is the large, velcro "pillow" pocket that you can store clothes or other padding in to create a headrest at the height you prefer. The angled legs keep the cot from "rocking" at night and the telescoping support in the center makes the cot even more strong than the traditional x-leg cot. It folds up easily and fits into a carry bag so it transports and stores easily when not in use.

Great Nights Sleep

I purchased my cot in March 2020 and have used it several times camping in the backyard with my son as our Scout campouts were cancelled due to COVID-19.

I had shopped around for a new cot to replace my big box store cheap cot which was narrow, squeaked a lot, and very hard and uncomfortable. I sleep on all sides so I toss and turn a lot during the night. With my small cheap cot, I constantly wake up and never feeling refreshed in the morning. I can honestly say the 5 or 6 nights I’ve slept on the Browning Titan Cot XL have been some of the best cot sleeping I’ve ever had while camping (again I was only in the back yard). This cot doesn’t squeak like my old one (I weigh around 220 lbs.) and I haven’t had any problems with the frame poking me at night. I will say it is a bit tricky to setup, but I figure I will get better at it the more I use it. And I have also noticed it seems to sit a little higher in the middle, but it doesn’t affect the way I sleep.

I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars simply because of the difficulty I have setting it up. But once it’s up, I sleep very well.

Sturdy and then some!

This cot is built to last. With the addition of a self inflating pad on top, these are like sleeping in a twin bed. I used mine for nearly a week of camping last deer season. At nearly 300 lbs, it took my getting up and down, rolling over in my sleep, etc. with no feeling that it was shifting or giving at the joints. I can't say that for other brands I have tried. Place your order with confidence and prepare for a good night's sleep!

Most comfortable cot

I REALLY love this cot! I'm not a little guy and this cot fits me and then some. I brought it to camp in the Dakota's and it was great! Warning though, the XL will not fit in a 4 sleeper tent I tried it in a Alps Taurus 4 outfitter and it wouldn't go. It touched the walls on both ends. I set up my 6 sleeper (10x10) and it was fine. I camped in it by myself and this cot fills the tent. By who cares! Lots of comfort with just my 0 degree bag. Worth every penny.
